伊娃（8岁）和她的父亲正在一辆18轮大卡车上进行蒙特利尔墨西哥公路旅行。
为了把蒙特利尔的寒冷换成墨西哥海滩，这就是伊娃想要的。当旅程没有在机场开始时，她有点吃惊，但很快她就忙着假装她爸爸的卡车是一架飞机。在他们的旅途中，伊娃观察着不断变化的风景，和她爸爸一起在海边欢呼雀跃地玩耍，随着收音机里的歌曲一起唱歌。在回来的路上，伊娃目睹了一个她需要保守的秘密。
